Author Study- Francesca Simon

Over the next few weeks we will be reading lots of Horrid Henry books as part of our author study on Francesca Simon. Today we all had a go at writing a blurb for one of the stories we have read so far. 


Here are a couple of the blurbs we wrote for 'Horrid Henry and the Secret Diary.' 


Peter brings a diary home from school. Does he write nice things or bad things? Miss Lovely wants Peter to read his diary in her assembly. Will she be proud or fooled? What happens in the story? Read to find out.

Horrid Henry wants to look at Peters diary. Does Henry have a plan? Does his plan work? Does he get told off? What will he write in Peters diary?
