Today is World book day and to celebrate Greenfields had a fancy dress competition. The whole school made a fantastic effort - it was so hard to choose our winners.
From your entry money, we shall be able to purchase some comfy seating/beanbags that we can use in the library.
The following children (and adults) were picked with the most original and thought out costumes;
Nursery - Damien as Humpty dumpty,
Reception - Christopher as Floppy the dog,
Year 1 - Megan as puss in boots,
Year 2 - George as an umpa lumpa,
Year 3 - Lily as Red Riding hood,
Year 4 - Georgia as cat in the hat,
Year 5 - Grace as Doctor who
and Year 6 - Olivia as the naughtiest school girl.
Adults were
1st - Mr Kenyon as Doctor Who,
2nd - Miss Hall as Rapunzel
and 3rd Mrs Quinn Lock as White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.
Photos to follow.
Well done to all. You shall receive your prize and certificate in assembly tomorrow.
